Full Story: "STOCKHOLM, Sweden - A school has confiscated an 8-year-old boy's birthday party invitations after they were handed out during class because it said it had a duty to ensure against discrimination.
The boy handed out invitations to classmates at his school in Lund, southern Sweden, but did not invite two boys because they were not his friends, the Sydsvenskan newspaper reported earlier this week.
The school, 360 miles south of Stockholm, confiscated all the invitations, saying it objected because it had a duty to ensure against discrimination.
The report on Friday did not name the boy or his family. It said the boy's father has filed a complaint with the parliamentary ombudsman."

Out-of-state crews post SC signs in wrong places
Full Story: "COLUMBIA, S.C. - While out-of-town for business, it always helps to ask the locals for directions. Especially if that business involves putting up street signs.
Crews from the North Carolina firm Signage Industries installed two signs near downtown Columbia, South Carolina that mistakenly pointed motorists away from the two colleges and an auditorium they promoted.
A city official, Steve Gantt, says a Columbia worker will now tail along with the North Carolina crews installing the city's more than 100 new signs."

Mickey D's Diet
Full Story: "QUINTON, Va. - A Virginia man lost about 80 pounds in six months by eating nearly every meal at McDonald's. Not Big Macs, french fries and chocolate shakes. Mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce.
Chris Coleson tipped the scales at 278 pounds in December. The 5-foot-8 Coleson now weighs 199 pounds and his waist size has dropped from 50 to 36.
The 42-year-old businessman from Quinton says he chose McDonald's because it's convenient.
His inspiration came from his two children and from the story of a blind war veteran who rode a tandem bicycle cross-country.
Coleson says his goal is to get back to the 185 pounds he weighed when he married Tricia Summer. Their 10th anniversary is Saturday."

Thong Face Bandits Coaught
Full Story: "ARVADA, Colo. - Police in a Colorado town say they've caught two 'thong bandits' who used women's underwear to disguise themselves during a convenience store robbery.
Ninteen-year-old Joaquin Rico turned himself in Friday, two days after 24-year-old alleged accomplice Joseph R. Espinoza turned himself in.
A surveillance video released last week by police in Arvada, Colo., shows two unarmed men inside the convenience store. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes in the May 16 robbery.
One man wore a green thong and the other wore blue. Each thong barely covered the man's nose, mouth and chin and left the rest of his face exposed. One also wore a pink backpack in which he stuffed the stolen items."

Crews rescue nude man stuck in portable potty
Full Story: "LEBANON, Pa. - Rescue crews had to cut apart a portable toilet to rescue a man who got stuck naked inside the potty. Authorities say the 31-year-old man used his cell phone to call 911 on Sunday from inside a portable toilet.
Police say the man had been drinking and had taken off his clothes. Somehow, he immersed himself in the holding tank.
Deputy fire commissioner Chris Miller told WPMT-TV, 'I've been on the job in one form or fashion for 21 years, and this is the first port-a-potty rescue I've ever had.'
Police charged the man with public drunkenness and creating a health code violation, but they have no idea why he was in the toilet with his clothes off. They said he didn't suffer any serious injuries."
It's a sh*tty job !
